As a licensed captain,my fishing travels have taken me to the Bahamas, as well as the Caribbean and some time in the Gulf of Mexico as well as the South Florida and Keys areas. Born in Hollywood, Florida raised in Ft Lauderdale, I now live in the Jensen Beach/Stuart,Fl area, the Sailfish Capital of the World. All along the way, I both fished and put many people on some lifetime catches and my attention was to how to improve on rod designs to give performance and function as well as beauty. When you have a custom rod built, I develop a profile of what you will be fishing for, where and how. The designs are a signature of your experience and are built to your exact specs.The rods are not based on stock patterns and unless a set is ordered, the patterns if ordered are also unique. I also build custom rods for tournament prizes and for fishing clubs as well as restorations for the rods that have been in the family and would like to be either returned to the past glory to carry on the fight or to be retired to the rack as a tribute. We also build custom rods for select tackle shops and ship world wide.
