The first place I used my new  rod was on the river during the snook run. The water was moving fast so the long cast I got from the rod allowed me to get the lure down to depth. The fish always bit on the pause so the sensitivity of the rod helped me pick up on lighter bites in the current. When the fish was hooked the rod loaded up and I was able to land more fish, and avoid fish getting into the cover.
